Job Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Achieve topline segment-wise targets for Relstar sales in assigned geography
  • Build the distribution network and ensure good ROI for distributors
  • Create demand for Relstar in market and provide inputs for business strategy
  • Manage, guide, and ensure results from distributors/promotors
  • Implement modern trade like e-commerce in field

Network/Market Development

  • Plan for appointment of distributors as per state business plan
  • Scout for direct customers, transporters, industrial customers, and initiate supplies within policy framework
  • Meet topliners in the assigned geography
  • Implement HO initiatives in the assigned geography
  • Track penetration of Relstar in unrepresented areas and improve dealer retention
  • Handle lube-related customer complaints

Training

  • Conduct product-training programs for channel partners and their sales teams
  • Ensure all new DSRs are trained after joining and re-trained at least once a year

Channel Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor performance of distributors and assist them with market understanding, pricing, schemes, and technical support
  • Review ROI of distributors and suggest improvements
  • Monitor 3rd party product promoters to ensure desired results

Demand Generation Activities

  • Coordinate with state sales team to conduct demand generation activities, wall shutter paintings, and outdoor campaigns
  • Implement mechanic loyalty program through distributors
  • Ensure DG and WSP activities are conducted as designed and evaluate their results
  • Collect feedback on DG activities from distributors and communicate to HO for improvement

Market Analysis

  • Analyze and report competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to HO
  • Monitor competitor product specs, pack developments, and targeted customer segments
  • Stay updated on marketing efforts, product mix changes, emerging services, and promotional strategies in the market

Education Requirement

  • B.E / BTech / MBA / PGDM

Experience Requirement

  • 5–6 years of experience required
  • Sales experience in lubricant companies or oil & gas industry
