Job Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Sales and Operational Management:
    • Assess RIL performance within the industry
    • Monitor RIL’s competitive position on network, pricing, customer communication, and service
    • Devise and implement action plans to achieve sales targets and market leadership with ME ≥ 3.5
  • Channel Development and Management:
    • Motivate and manage channel teams by resolving concerns and feedback
    • Facilitate appointment of appropriate channel partners (fuel and non-fuel) to achieve targets
    • Ensure timely release of payments for COCO operators by coordinating with internal teams
  • Sales Maximization, Customer Acquisition & Retention:
    • Analyze trading area dynamics: competition, traffic, customer patterns
    • Implement sales promotions and customer communication initiatives
    • Assist channel teams and Area Managers in customer acquisition and retention to achieve market leadership
  • Operational Compliance and Excellence:
    • Ensure implementation of OMS and fuel operational SOPs at all ROs
    • Assist Area Managers in analyzing COCO performance and controlling losses
  • Sustenance of Q&Q Value Proposition:
    • Ensure Q&Q value proposition sustenance across all ROs
    • Maintain RO network compliance with all applicable laws & statutes
    • Coordinate with state and HO teams to ensure Q&Q compliance across supply chain
    • Support Area Managers in accurate material and financial accounting at COCOs
  • Boundary Management:
    • Liaise with external agencies to prevent adverse legal actions against the company

Education Requirement

  • B.E / B.Tech
  • MBA in Marketing

Experience Requirement

  • 12+ years of experience in channel management, channel sales, and retail operations
