Job Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. Network Expansion

  • Define strategic objectives and develop network expansion plans aligned with the organization’s strategic intent.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities, select target markets, and finalize priority stretches for expansion.
  • Compile market intelligence and track future developments to mitigate risks and create growth opportunities.
  • Project manage site finalization for network expansion and ensure proposals meet the defined investment framework.
  • Conduct potential assessment of sites for conventional fuels, alternate fuels, and non-fuel value propositions.
  • Manage facility planning, obtain approvals, and handle exceptions as required.

2. Real Estate Management

  • Program manage acquisition of suitable land parcels for new retail sites.
  • Evaluate real estate options from business, statutory, and financial perspectives.
  • Recommend feasible real estate opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder coordination to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Handle site acquisition, lease surrender, and related legal or court cases to protect company interests.

3. Franchise Offers

  • Develop franchise offers and manage communication across multiple platforms.
  • Regularly review franchise business models and benchmark them against industry standards.
  • Refine and update franchise offerings to remain competitive and relevant.

4. Franchise Development

  • Monitor the franchise development pipeline and drive initiatives for lead generation.
  • Project manage the franchise selection process and ensure completion within defined timelines.
  • Provide handholding support to new franchisees and manage onboarding until the OTP stage.

5. Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify market research needs and translate them into structured research briefs in coordination with the Marketing Services team.
  • Participate in research execution and insight generation.
  • Project manage and execute offer development initiatives, including pilot programs.
  • Assess effectiveness of offers and modify them based on customer and supplier insights.
  • Build and strengthen RBML presence in assigned areas to support future growth and scalability.

Education Requirements

  • B.E. / B.Tech (mandatory)
  • MBA (mandatory)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development (mandatory).
  • Preferred experience in Strategy, Sales, Channel Management, or Project Management.
